Travian Defense Automation, Explained Honestly

What incoming-attack detection actually does today (a Telegram alert, not an automatic troop send), and how to reduce risk while running any automation.

Most "defense bot" marketing implies full automation — attack comes in, troops get sent, you never notice. That's not what Pilot Trav does today, and we'd rather explain exactly what it does than let that assumption stand.

What Attack Detection Actually Does

Pilot Trav checks your village list on every cycle for the attack indicator Travian itself shows next to a village under threat. The moment it sees one, it sends a Telegram alert naming the village — so instead of discovering an attack by logging in after it already landed, you find out while there's still time to react.

What It Doesn't Do (Yet)

It does not automatically dispatch reinforcements. No troops move on their own when an attack is detected — the alert is the entire action. If you want to reinforce, you do it yourself once you get the notification. We're flagging this clearly because "auto-reinforce" is the kind of feature that's easy to imply and genuinely disappointing to discover isn't there when you actually needed it at 3am.

Setting Up the Alert

Attack alerts need two things configured: a linked Telegram chat (done once, from account settings) and the alert toggle enabled per account. Once both are set, detection runs automatically on the bot's normal cycle — there's no separate schedule to manage.

Is Using a Bot at All Safe?

This is the real question underneath "is the defense bot good," so it's worth answering directly: no automation tool, including Pilot Trav, can guarantee you won't get flagged. Travian's terms prohibit automation. What reduces that risk (not eliminates it) across every module — farming, building, training, not just defense — is:

▸Randomized delays instead of fixed-interval actions
▸A real, distinct browser fingerprint per account
▸Proxy support so multiple accounts don't share one IP
▸Human-like mouse movement and click timing instead of direct API calls

A Reasonable Way to Think About It

Treat the Telegram alert as what it is: faster information, not a replacement for judgment. Combine it with your own reinforcement habits (a standing garrison, a designated source village) rather than assuming the software has it fully handled.
