How to Automate Travian Farming (Without Gold Club)

A step-by-step walkthrough of Custom Farm Lists, the Inactive-Village Finder, and hero oasis raiding with a live garrison check before every send.

Manually clicking through a raid list every few hours is the single most repetitive part of Travian. This guide walks through setting up real, automated farming in Pilot Trav — no Gold Club required.

Custom Farm List vs. Gold Club Farm List

Travian's native Farm List is locked behind Gold Club. Pilot Trav's Custom Farm List gives you the same loop without it: you add targets by coordinates, assign a troop composition per target, and the bot cycles through the whole list on its own interval. If you do have Gold Club, Custom Farm List can run alongside your native one — they're independent systems.

To set one up:

▸Open your account's Farm List page from the dashboard
▸Add a target by entering its x/y coordinates and a name (for your own reference)
▸Set the troop composition to send — this can differ per target, so a heavily-garrisoned target can get a smaller probe while a known-empty village gets a full raid
▸Set your interval range (a minimum and maximum, not a fixed number) — more on why that matters below

Finding Targets Without Scrolling the Map

Reading the map by eye for farmable villages is slow and goes stale the moment someone starts actively playing a village again. The Inactive-Village Finder scans the area around your own villages and flags targets showing no recent defensive activity, so you're adding villages that are actually worth raiding right now — not three weeks ago when you last looked.

Run it from the same Farm List page: pick a center point and radius, and it returns a list of candidate villages you can add to your Custom Farm List with one click each.

Oasis Raiding With Your Hero

Beyond village raiding, Pilot Trav maintains a separate Hero Oasis Raid List. This is specifically for sending your hero — optionally with a troop escort — to oases you've identified as worth farming.

Two things make this safer than a blind raid list:

▸Nearby-Oasis Scanner: discovers real oasis coordinates and their current garrison around a point you choose, so you're not guessing which tiles are oases versus unclaimed valleys or real villages
▸Live garrison check before every send: a garrison scanned an hour ago can change. Before dispatching, the bot re-checks the oasis's actual current garrison and skips the send if it's grown past the threshold you set — this is what stops your hero from walking into a now-defended oasis on stale data

Reading the Garrison Icons

When the scanner returns results, garrisons show as the real tribe-specific unit icon next to a count — not a generic "T1/T2" label — so you can tell at a glance whether an oasis has, say, a handful of rats or something heavier worth skipping.

Tuning Your Raid Interval

This is the part most guides skip: don't use a fixed interval. A farm list that fires every exactly-30-minutes is a detectable pattern. Pilot Trav's interval setting takes a minimum and maximum (for example 25–40 minutes) and picks a random value inside that range for every cycle — closer to how an attentive player actually behaves than a clock.

Putting It Together

A reasonable first setup looks like this:

StepWhat to configure
1Add 5–10 known targets manually or via the Inactive-Village Finder
2Set a randomized interval (don't use a fixed number)
3Run the Nearby-Oasis Scanner once around each village
4Add any lightly-garrisoned oases to the Hero Oasis Raid List
5Let it run for a day, then revisit targets that stopped producing loot
